Contact Details of Elected and Public Officials:

Governor Kulongoski is in his second term as governor. He is prevented by the term limits specified in the Oregon Constitution from running for a third term consective term in office. He would be permitted to run again after one term out of office is he chose.

The other elected officials listed below can run for office again and some will face elections in the near future. If common sense doesn't prevail and Ray is forced to remove his railroad, then "Election Time" is the time to hold the elected officials who didn't help, responsible for the loss of something really special.

I have personally written to many of the elected officials below seeking their assistance and the most common answer can be summerized as "Not My job, try someone else."

In most cases, "not my job" is accurate, but all of these elected officials are prominent Oregonians, they have the stature and ability to infulence those who's job it is. Quite simply, if these prominent Oregonians can't stop resourses from being wasted on stopping something like the Meadows & Lake Kathleen Rairoad when there is so much other important matters to attend to, then I think you need to question the value of these elected officials. I'm not suggesting that improper infulence should be used to achieve something improper.

The appointed officials responsible for directing so much trouble in the direction of Ray Robinson have been appointed directly or indirectly by elected officials, the officials you voted for. The appointed officials are not a law into themselves. They are responsible for acting and protecting the public interest, not just flexing their power or percieced importance. If the elected officials who were responsible for appointing them can't ensure they act in the public interest, then I question their value and suitability to hold the offices they do.

Nobody has been able to show or tell me one thing that has been adversly affected by the creation of Ray's & Kathleen's railroad, but I know many things including the enviornmental conditions have been improved and many people have experienced and enjoyed something special because of a simple toy train.

No matter what happens, it's my intention to keep this website up unitl after the next elections to attempt to see those who deserve it are recigionized for their assistance, or lack or assistance.

Steve Walsh.
